• Keynote Speech Maximilian Heberer (bwFDM): What’s in it for me? An introduction to research data management, E310 (13:30-14:30)

  An introduction to research data management (RDM), its benefits, its implementation and support-related offerings.

  In recent years, research data management (RDM) has gained significant momentum. Even though researchers may occasionally perceive it as burdensome, research data management offers significant advantages – not just for the researchers themselves, but, on a larger scale, for research and society as a whole.
  In this talk, Maximilian Heber (Team Open Science, University of Konstanz), staff member at bwFDM, the state initiative for research data management in Baden-Württemberg, will provide a general introduction to the scope of research data management. He will shed light on the benefits it offers and provide tips on how research data management can be implemented in day-to-day research. To wrap up, he will present key points of contact for more information and support-related offerings available for researchers.
