Whether you have already created an English job portfolio or are just applying for your first work-term or “Praktikum“ in English or anything in between – you need to understand the important differences between a standard German Lebenslauf and an English resume– a much more dynamic selling tool that can market your unique skills and experience.
In this workshop CVs, resumes and cover letters will be closely examined to demonstrate how you can both adhere to the ‘rules‘ while maximizing the impact of your portfolio. Although the focus of the workshop will be on how to prepare your written documents, time will also be allotted to the subject of interviews including the opportunity to roleplay specific interview situations.
