About the Workshop
European University Alliances like ChallengeEU thrive on collaboration across institutions, disciplines, and cultures — a rewarding but complex endeavour. This two-part interactive workshop explores the challenges of working together across institutional and cultural boundaries. We will explore:
- Collaboration as a challenge of shared purpose and vision
- Communication as a challenge of understanding across people and institutions
- Conflict as a challenge of trust and alignment
Through input, reflection, and interactive exercises, participants will explore how diversity impacts communication, how tensions can be transformed into learning opportunities, and how to build trust within alliances.

Speaker profile:
Dr Annette Klinkert is an internationally experienced workshop facilitator, trainer and science communicator. Since 2012, she has been Managing Director of city2science (www.city2science.de), a German company that develops innovative communication approaches linking scientific institutions with urban and regional development strategies.
