About Modval
The Modval Symposium was established in 2004 to discuss advances in the modelling, simulation and experimental validation of rechargeable batteries, all types of fuel cells, electrolysers and other electrochemical energy conversion technologies. It takes place every year in spring, alternating between Switzerland and Germany.
The symposium is proud of its long tradition of discussing details of model development, numerical implementation and specific validation methods, which is not the case at other major conferences. It provides an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss new approaches and initiate international co-operations.

11 and 12 March 2025: ModVal conference
